The PMPA Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed for educational and research purposes related to the Precision Machined Products Industry. Grant funds are currently available to assist individuals, schools and companies for education and training activities related to the precision machining industry.

The PMPA is an international trade association representing the interests of the precision machined products industry. While PMPA consists mainly of North America based manufacturers, its members also operate facilities in various industrial markets around the globe.

Right Skills Now is an acceleration of the NAM –Endorsed Manufacturing Skills Certification System, which includes nationally portable, industry-recognized certifications that are combined with for-credit education programs.


National Institute for Metalworking Skills, Inc

Formed in 1994 by the metalworking trade associations to develop and maintain a globally competitive American workforce, NIMS sets skills standards for the industry, certifies individual skills against the standards and accredits training programs that meet NIMS quality requirements.


The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC), a 501(c)3 non-profit, is an industry-led, training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation’s front-line production and material handling workers.
